Nepenmäki School

The new Nepenmäki School is an elementary school for 600-700 students in Joensuu, Finland. Joensuu City wanted to invest in the facades of the new school.

The facades are covered with green vertical cladding and three large artworks in Graphic Concrete on each wing made by artist Pia Sinkkonen. QVIM Architects, who designed the school, sought variation and liveliness in the areas where the children spend their breaks. "

We are very satisfied with the end result.
